At Shorewood senior campus, we offer many levels of personalized care to help you make the most of life! While we do offer senior apartments for residents 55 or better at Shorewood Place, today we will be walking down the corridor on our campus to explore the accommodations at Shorewood Commons. We offer both assisted living and memory care at Shorewood Commons and these are some differences between the two.
At Shorewood Commons Assisted Living, each resident’s home is a private apartment complete with a kitchen. However, there is a dining hall where residents enjoy most of their meals prepared by friendly and fantastic chefs. Restaurant-style service means you won’t even have to get out of your seat! Assisted Living is the choice for any seniors who feel they could use more personalized care and help with some of the stresses of daily life. It is common for our senior living residents from Shorewood Place to move to Shorewood Commons as they age and their needs change. We work with each person individually to execute a care plan that is what the resident wants.
Reflections Memory Care
Reflections Memory Care is a neighborhood within Shorewood Commons where residents have private bathrooms and bedrooms but share a common dining, living and patio area. This environment is specially designed for those suffering from Alzheimer’s or dementia. It provides more opportunities for residents to connect with others and exercise their memory rather than living in solitude. Our staff is specially trained to work with those who suffer from memory loss and to be proactive in meeting each person’s needs. We also have a 24-hour Resident Care team and individual case management is done by a registered nurse. This extra staff ensures that each resident of Reflections Memory Care gets the attention they deserve.
When it is time to seek extra help with daily life, consider the levels of care at Shorewood Commons. We have accommodations here to help you thrive!
